MINISTRY
Our Lord, in the Gospel of Matthew 21:31, says, “the tax collectors and the harlots will go into the kingdom of God before you.”
With the merciful
gaze of Jesus,
who welcomes all and shows no partiality, our charism is also directed toward women who, for various reasons, find themselves in situations of prostitution and use their bodies as a means of survival.
Our Fraternity goes out to
meet these women, often
victims of neglect and lack
of opportunity, in the places
where they are found:
red-light districts, streets, public squares, and similar environments. In these encounters, we take time to pray with them and to listen to their stories. In some countries, we also have the opportunity to hold regular meetings with them, where, in addition to prayer, we address themes related to their reality and their needs.
